Tap + New in the bottom dock, then choose Import File. Pick anything from iCloud Drive, the Files app, or the share sheet of another app.
iOS only surfaces a file provider once it has at least one file. Open BetterPreview, create or import any file (a Welcome.txt is enough), then re-open the Files app. BetterPreview will appear under Browse → On My iPhone.
Open Settings → BetterPreview Pro and complete a one-time purchase. It's a single payment — no subscription, yours forever. Pro syncs across all devices signed in to the same App Store account.

Yes. Every file you import or create lives only inside the app's sandbox on your device. BetterPreview doesn't have a server — nothing is uploaded, indexed, or analyzed. See the privacy policy for full detail.
Tap and hold any file or folder, then tap Delete. To wipe everything at once, uninstall BetterPreview — iOS clears the entire sandbox along with the app.

BetterPreview targets recent iOS and Android releases. The iOS 26 Liquid Glass material renders natively on iOS 26+; older versions fall back to a frosted blur with the same color palette.
